2012 Press Conference Room Guidelines

  1. The Press Conference Room is located in the Room Murano 3306
  2. For Show exhibitors, there is no charge to use the Press Conference Room for press events.
  3. Exhibitors may reserve a time slot in the Press Conference Room for up to an hour, for a maximum of once a day each day of the show.
  4. The room will be set theater-style. A podium and microphone are provided. If you require additional audio-visual equipment please contact the audio/visual vendor. Vendor information can be found within the SHOT Show exhibitor manual here.
  5. If you would like to provide refreshments for the media during your scheduled time, please contact the show caterer or refer to the SHOT Show exhibitor manual.
  6. Please be considerate of others and stay within your secured time slot. If ordering catering or special A/V equipment, allow time for setup and takedown within your time slot.
  7. The Press Conference Room Schedule will also be made available to the media via posting in the SHOT Show Press Office during show hours.
  8. Exhibitors may also hold a press conference in their booth instead of the Press Room. This option may be more beneficial to you because:
    • No time restrictions.
    • Your entire staff is present.
    • All your products are accessible.
    • The media can view your entire exhibit.
    • Catering is available in your booth.
    • You may already have A/V in your booth.
    • If you would like to hold a press conference in your booth, please advise the National Shooting Sports Foundation. Your event will be added to a list posted in the show Press Office.
      • For more information, e-mail Bill Brassard, NSSF's Director of Communications or call 203-426-1320.
