PROTECT YOUR VALUABLES
Show Management, the Building Operator, the General Contractor, and the Security Company provides a measure of protection, such as providing perimeter security, exit security, overnight security and roving security. We however, do not accept responsibility for valuables or thefts belonging to you or your staff. We have enhanced our security measures for this year and we have made every effort to provide the highest level of protection for you and your staff. We are asking you to do your part to impede any potential thefts. A good security measure is to be proactive, please use the overnight storage rooms for your valuables especially firearms or hire a security guard to remain in your booth overnight.
To ensure safety and security of your product and display during move-in, show days and move-out we ask that you review the following guidelines to ensure the best safeguard measures for your valuables.
BASIC SECURITY RECOMMENDATIONS FOR SHOT SHOW EXHIBITORS:
- Arrange for insurance coverage to protect your exhibit and product against damage or loss from the time it leaves your premises until it returns.
- DO NOT LEAVE FIREARMS IN YOUR BOOTH UNATTENDED-HIRE AN OVERNIGHT SECURITY GUARD OR USE THE OVERNIGHT STORAGE ROOM.
- Treat especially valuable goods such as prototypes as irreplaceable. If they truly are one-of-a-kind, hire your own security guard. Under no circumstances should such goods ever be left unattended. Flat Screens, Plasmas, LCD’S, VCR’s, televisions, computers, laptops and other electronic devices are particularly vulnerable to theft.
- Keep close tabs on personal items (cell phones, purses, laptops, briefcases, etc.)
- Do not put articles of any value in a container marked “EMPTY STORAGE”, or behind your booth.
- At the close of each business day, cover all tables. This establishes a barrier to curiosity seekers and other would-be thieves from selecting such items to steal at a later time.
Please take the time to protect your materials. We urge you to store and secure any valuable, pilferable, or irreplaceable items in our Overnight Storage Rooms. The overnight storage rooms are at no charge to you and they are manned 24 hours a day. Note: In order for us to serve all of our exhibitors, storage in these rooms is restricted to products on display. We cannot store literature, displays or excess products.
- Immediately report to Security, or Show Management, the presence of any unauthorized visitors, or suspicious activity on the show floor.
- Any Firearm entering the Show after the Safety Inspection has taken place on Monday, January 18th, 2010 , must first be inspected and tagged at the Safety Advisors’ Office. Personal firearms, or firearms not on display, are not permitted.
- THEFT OF A FIREARM IS A FEDERAL OFFENSE. IF YOU WITNESS A CRIME CALL CRIMESTOPPERS AT (702) 385-5555.
DO NOT LEAVE YOUR BOOTH UNATTENDED UNTIL YOUR MERCHANDISE IS SECURE!!!
Our objective is to make your show experience as worthwhile and profitable as it can be. Adhering to these important security recommendations will go a long way to ensure
