General Policies

Personal Firearms Carry Policy

Per Sands Expo Convention Center (SECC) policy, personal firearms or ammunition are not allowed. Only firearms on display by exhibitors whose firing pins have been removed (and have been inspected by SHOT Show Safety Advisors) will be permitted on the show floor.

Privacy Policy

The SHOT Show respects the information provided by our customers. Because we gather certain types of information when our customers communicate with us, we believe you should fully understand the terms and conditions surrounding the information we capture and the use of that information. This privacy statement discloses the type of information we capture about our customers, how we use it to communicate with our customers, and how you can request to no longer receive communications from SHOT Show.

Attendance Rules

Attendance at the SHOT Show is RESTRICTED to the shooting, hunting and outdoor trade and commercial buyers and sellers of military, law enforcement and tactical products and services ONLY. The show is not open to the public, and NO one under age 16 shall be admitted (including infants).

Attendee Registration Identification & Validation

Only individuals affiliated with the shooting, hunting, and outdoor trade may attend the SHOT Show. Attendees shall be required to provide verification of their trade affiliation (e.g., FFL or other supporting documentation) prior to or during the show. Attendees should carefully review the show's attendance rules prior to registering. Registration and subsequent admission constitutes full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance to all show rules.

SHOT Show names, logos and images

The "SHOT Show®" and "Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade ShowSM" names, logos and images are trademarks or registered trademarks of the National Shooting Sports Foundation, Inc. The show's names, logos, and images may not be used without prior license from NSSF and compliance with the SHOT Show Trademark Branding Guidelines. Usage of the SHOT Show trademarks, if granted, shall be limited to registered and verified exhibitors and media of the 2013 show to promote their participation in or for news coverage of the 2013 show.

Suitcasing/Outboarding

The National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) is striving to help all exhibitors have a successful SHOT Show®. As such we are mandating increased measures to protect exhibitors from "suitcasing/outboarding" at the show. This is NSSF's Suitcasing/Outboarding Policy, which will be posted using signage around the exhibit hall and included in the onsite guide for all attendees.

Product Eligibility

It is important to follow carefully the product eligibility and display rules that have been established to guide the safe display of shooting, hunting and related outdoor products at the SHOT Show. Review these rules when making plans for the display of products and when designing show booth and related graphics, marketing and promotional materials. These rules are an important component to the success of the SHOT Show and will be strictly, fairly and uniformly enforced.

Technical Data

Caution - the Unlicensed Export of "Technical Data" on Firearms and Ammunition is Illegal. Exhibitors of firearm and ammunition products should be aware that under federal law -- the Arms Export Control Act (AECA) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) -- it is unlawful and illegal to "export" without a U.S. State Department-issued license any "defense article" on the U.S. Munitions List (USML), which includes firearms and ammunition products (except non-combat shotguns and shot shells).
