Dear SHOT Show Exhibitor,

The 35th annual SHOT Show is rapidly approaching and we look forward to seeing you in 13 weeks.

The Exhibitor Dashboard to order your Exhibitor Credentials is now live.  Please log-into the Exhibitor Dashboard using the instructions below and order your credentials before December 21, 2012 in order to receive them in the mail.

Once again individual e-mails will be required for every credential holder.

In response to post Show surveys every attempt is made to be sure only individuals who truly belong on the Show floor are credentialed. Moving forward there will be credential allotments.

Exhibitor Credentials (Badge) Update & Exhibitor Credential (Badge) Policy Change
 

  • New exhibitor credentials (badge) allotment for 2013:

·         Exhibiting companies will be given an allotted number of free exhibitor credentials (badges) based on their booth size. Credentials requested over the allotment are $30 per credential (badge).

·         New Allotment = 4 complimentary credentials for first 100 square feet of new booth and 2 credentials for each additional 100 square feet after.

Examples:
10x10 (100 sq. ft.) booth = 4 free credentials
10x20 (200 sq. ft.) booth = 6 free credentials
20x20 (400 sq. ft.) booth = 10 free credentials
3,000 sq. ft. booth = 62 free credentials (4 for the first 100 sq. ft. and 58 for the next 2,900 sq. ft.)
5,400 sq. ft. booth = 110 free credentials (4 for the first 100 sq. ft. and 106 for the next
5,300 sq. ft.)

·         Some credential types are not included in the new allotment:

- Credential (badge) types NOT included in the booth allotment include: Exhibitor
  Manufacturer’s rep, Set-up & Tear-down Only, Exhibitor Guest/VIP, Exhibitor/Media
- Credential (badge) types that ARE included in the booth allotment include: Booth Staff, Booth
  Staff Set-up and Tear-down

Note: Manufacturer’s Rep. credentials are complimentary until January 7, 2013. After January 7, 2013 manufacturer’s rep badges are $30 per credential

  • Requesting Exhibitor Credentials through the Exhibitor Dashboard:

·         Enter your Customer Number found on any National Shooting Sports Foundation/SHOT Show invoice in the "User Name" field and the first five digits of your company's zip code or postal code (no dashes or spaces) also found on your invoice in the "Password" field.

·         International companies that do not have a postal code, please use the Customer Number for both the Username and Password.

·         Note: Your registered booth staff from the 2012 SHOT Show will be automatically populated when you log in to request credentials. Simply click the “Add Previous Booth Staff” option to populate the list. You can also edit the list and add new booth staff. You can also “mass” upload a new list with the “upload option.”

The Press Conference Room (Murano 3306) is available to all SHOT Show Exhibitors at no charge. Exhibitors can reserve the Press Conference Room for up to 1 hour per day.

Bins for exhibitors to display their press materials are available in the SHOT Show Press Room (Murano Ballroom). These bins can be reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis. Read more and request a bin here.

The online exhibitor manual will be live next week. You will be able to access the online manual within the Exhibitor Resource Center to:

- View shipping details and download shipping labels
- View all available marketing & advertising opportunities
- Download order forms for electric, telecommunications, booth cleaning, plumbing etc.
- Order booth furniture, audio visual and catering for your booth or press conference and more

Drive Traffic to your booth Animals at the SHOT Show ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The use of animals for marketing products or services is prohibited at the Show. Only properly identified on-duty ADA recognized service animals or Mil/LE/Fire K-9 are permitted. This prohibition does not affect photographs or recorded or televised broadcasts featuring animals, or animals used
in training exercises, sporting demonstrations or other activities that are pre-approved by Show Management and held outside of the Exhibition. 
 
Drive Traffic to your booth  Booth Giveaways: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Please keep in mind that your gifts often have to travel home through the airport security checkpoints.  An ammunition style keychain, while perfectly legal as a blank, may cause delays for someone's baggage scan.  If you still want to give out a similar item, just make sure that it comes with a suggestion to put the item in their checked baggage.
